This section of the website allows you to search for a school by their name or geographical location and then request a prospectus for a maximum of 4 schools.
Best-Schools tries to list all independent schools in the UK, but we do not include very small schools or nurseries. The search engine is driven by the words in the name and address of each school, such that you can search on school name, town or county. The resulting search will list schools and tell you if they are pre-preps, preps, senior or sixth form colleges. You can click on each school name to be presented with further details of that school, including its academic record, if any. The school may not be eligible for one of our league tables but you can compare their exam result with those in the tables to get a feel for comparability.
After you have selected each school, you can request a prospectus be sent to you. Just click on the prospectus icon to add it to your shopping basket. You must then complete your own details. We dispatch these requests electronically to the schools. Please contact the school directly if it fails to arrive. Note that prospectuses are expensive and schools will only send them to serious parent enquirers who fill in ALL the fields on the request forms. Sometimes they will not send prospectuses if they are already full.
